Terms of Service

By accessing or using Billable Snap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.

Billable Snap is a local-first iPhone app for organizing People, tracking active work in Today, and reviewing saved history in Log.

The app is intended to help you keep your own work records for reference, review, and billing support. It is not a payroll, accounting, tax, invoicing, legal compliance, or workflow automation service.

You may use Billable Snap only if you can form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction and are permitted to use the app where you live or work.

If you use the app on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that entity.

Subject to these Terms, Xiaoyu Li grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use Billable Snap for your internal personal or business recordkeeping.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others, except to the extent a restriction is not allowed by law.

You are responsible for the people, project, activity, note, rate, and log information that you enter into the app.

You are also responsible for reviewing saved entries, edits, calculated totals, and any billing or business decisions you make based on the app's output.

In the current version, Billable Snap stores your work records on your device as part of the app's local data store.

The current version does not provide a developer-hosted account system, subscription service, team workspace, cloud sync, export service, invoice generation, AI assistance, web dashboard, or guaranteed remote recovery for the work records you enter.

You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the app or interfere with any other party's use of the app.

All content included in Billable Snap, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of the developer or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the information you enter into the app. In the current version, the app is designed to store that information locally on your device as part of its normal functionality.

The app may be updated from time to time, and features may change or be removed.

If a future version introduces additional online services, accounts, subscriptions, sync, exports, or materially different data handling, these Terms and related disclosures may be updated before those changes apply.

Billable Snap is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system version, or workflow.

We do not warrant that any calculated totals, durations, or records will be complete, accurate, or suitable for billing, tax, legal, or compliance use without your independent review.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xiaoyu Li will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or data arising out of or related to your use of Billable Snap.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Xiaoyu Li for any claim arising out of or relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to obtain the current version of the app.

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using the app at any time.

Access to the app may be suspended or terminated if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that creates legal or security risk.

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the developer is established, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
