Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Billable Snap handles information in the current version of the app.

Billable Snap is designed as a local-first iPhone app for organizing People, tracking work, and reviewing saved history in Log.

If future versions introduce online services, user accounts, subscriptions, sync, exports, or materially different data flows, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those changes take effect.

Information You May Enter in the App

You may enter names and labels for people and projects, activity titles, notes, rate information, time and duration details, manual edits, saved log entries, and calculated totals associated with your work tracking.

Depending on how you use the app, the information you enter may include personal or business information that you choose to store for your own recordkeeping.

How the App Uses Information

Billable Snap uses the information you enter to organize People, show Today and recent Log views, support stop review and save flows, allow edits to saved history, and calculate billable durations and totals.

The current version is not designed to use this information for advertising, cross-app profiling, or sale to data brokers.

How Information Is Stored

In the current version, the information you enter is stored locally on your device as part of the app's local data store.

Based on the current implementation, the developer does not provide a user account system, cloud workspace, server-hosted database, or developer-managed sync service for your people, projects, activities, notes, or logs.

No Sale of Data and No Cross-App Tracking

The developer does not sell your data.

Billable Snap is not designed for cross-app tracking, and the current version is not intended to track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Sharing and Disclosure

In the current version, the app does not provide a built-in feature that sends your work records to the developer's servers as part of normal use.

Information may be disclosed only if required by law, to enforce legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer involving the app.

If the app's data practices materially change in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those changes take effect.

Permissions

The core workflow of the current version does not require account login, location, contacts, camera, photos, microphone, or tracking permission.

If a future version requests additional device permissions, iOS will ask for your permission at the time of the request and this Privacy Policy will be updated.

Retention

Information you enter generally remains on your device until you edit or delete it, or until the app and its local data are removed from the device.

Device backups or system-level retention handled by Apple or your own backup tools may be governed by their separate terms and settings.

Deletion

You can delete individual records within the app where editing and deletion controls are available.

You can also remove the app from your device, which removes the local app container subject to iOS behavior and any backups or copies you control outside the app.

Children's Privacy

Billable Snap is not directed to children under 13.

In the current version, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated online service because the app does not provide that type of service for work records.

Security

Reasonable measures are used as appropriate for the current version of the app, but no device or software environment is completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device, backups, and any information you choose to store in the app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

The updated version will be made available in the app or on the website, and the Effective Date will be revised accordingly.
